History
Since 1995, Rams Cycling has held Northern Colorado’s premier mountain bike race at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch in Red Feather, CO. It is a weekend of truly incredible mountain bike racing. There are races in three disciplines, cross country, short track and downhill. There are races for Collegiate and NORBA (National Off Road Bicycle Association) in all categories from Beginner to Pro. This is a primary fundraiser for the Rams Cycling Team fall racing season.

Thanks for making this years Cobb Lake circuit race a sucess, we are plannig on running this race again Spring 2012!
Road Race: The course is located North East of the CSU campus and is just off the Frontage road...
The Start/Finish is located at E Cr-54 / Ne Frontage Rd. and from there you will take a right on to E Cr-56 / Frontage Rd. (this is the dirt section of the course), then take a right onto Taliesin Way, head through the Cobb Lake gatedcommunity until you reach Richards Lake Road (E Cr-52) and take a right. Head down Cr-52 unitl you reach the Ne Frontage Rd and take a right back towards the start /finish... Parking is located at Ardec which is at the intersection of E Cr-56 / Ne Frontage Road.. this is also where the bathrooms are located...

Oval Crit:
From I-25 North or South. Exit #268, Prospect Road. Go West on Prospect Road to College Avenue. Go North on College Avenue to Laurel Street. Go West on Laurel Street to Meldrum. Turn South on Meldrum Street and park in Engineering Parking lot.

The Oval Criterium is the most respected road race in Northern Colorado. First held in 1986, it is one of the older races in Colorado. Racers travel from all over the state to compete on the Oval at Colorado State University. There are events for Collegiate and USAC (USA Cycling) in all categories from Citizen to Pro. This is a primary fundraiser for the Rams Cycling Team spring racing season.
